Requirements:

A master's degree in a relevant field of study with at least five years as an executive or director level administrator. Proven understanding of innovative techniques of data management and analysis across a complex organization and success bringing innovation pilot projects to scale. Extensive experience with the myriad sources of University data and how to consolidate and present this data in reports and other vehicles must useful to decision makers. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history is required.

Job Description:

A strategic, visionary leader who will analyze and communicate complex data effectively across the university for the new position of Assistant Vice President for Planning, Analytics and Decision Support (AVP). Reporting directly to the President, the AVP is responsible for providing: High-level, analytically based advice to the president; strategic planning; leadership and oversight of Institutional Research and Decision-Support personnel; and alignment and tracking of cabinet-level goals to the mission and vision of the University.The Assistant Vice President for Planning, Analytics and Decision Support will be a member of the Cabinet and will Lead efforts to encourage a culture of strategic and data-information decision-making throughout the University; will be relied on to conceive the analytical and statistical modeling approaches required to answer key questions; will deliver usable information and the narrative to explain it for management and policy decisions; and will design and implement strategics, standards, best-practices, and tools to support the president's objective that "all decisions are data supported."

Schedule:
8:00 am- 5:00 pm Monday- Friday (Overnight travel, evening, and weekend are required)
