Qualified applicants will have:
Associates Degree in Industrial Controls or a Bachelor?s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or five Five (5) years work experience
Experience in creation and modification of PLC logic and programming with Siemens controllers/software
Experience with Allen Bradley, Modicon, GE Fanuc, AutomationDirect, Mitsubishi, Omron, Aromat and/or Toshiba
Must be able to create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation and testing and start-up
Must be able to read and understand electrical schematics
Must have strong electrical controls knowledge and understanding

Schaeffler Group is seeking an Automation Programmer to support our manufacturing facility in Cheraw, SC. This position will be responsible for providing support to the Automation Electronics Group with development and troubleshooting, must be able to set up and operate electronic test equipment and devices used on automated equipment built in the Automation Department, create machine control programs as well as equipment specific software, troubleshoot electrical problems associated with new start up and existing equipment.
