Requirements:

Requires a vocational school diploma in vehicle maintenance and one to two years of experience in vehicle maintenance or fleet management; or any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have successfully completed required courses and certification; may be required to possess additional certification(s) as deemed necessary by the City. Must possess a valid South Carolina driver's
license Class ?A?. Must have forklift certification.

Job Description:

Under general supervision, performs skilled work in maintenance and repair of gasoline and diesel powered automotive equipment to include engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, fuel injection, computer operations, and HVAC systems. Work involves maintaining required reports and records.
Reports to Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor.
