MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma + 3 yrs related work experience to include 1 yr in a supervisory capacity. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Incumbent needs to possess a valid South Carolina drivers license, possess the ability to acquire a South Carolina Commercial Pest Control License, and/or a South Carolina Commercial Driver's License.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES In this challenging role, you will support the Grounds department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following: -Provide horticulture care services regarding all campus flora. -Operate all lawn maintenance and landscaping equipment in an experienced and professional manner. -Perform irrigation installations and repairs. -Apply fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides. -Monitor campus sites for debris and litter, dispose of properly. -Provide labor for construction and renovation projects.
