Job Description

We are seeking a business development associate (entry level) to explore new and untapped business opportunities and relationships as well as supporting our valued client base.
The ideal candidate is a quick learner who is ready to provide clients with professional and reliable services that give them the ability to be environmentally responsible, profitable, and competitive in their business practices. He or she should also have an aptitude for sales, as the opportunity to promote company products and services arises. The most successful business development associate will have the communication and interpersonal skills needed to provide support, answer questions, and resolve issues in an efficient manner. Serving as the voice and face of our company, he or she will be integral to reinforcing our reputation as the “We Can Help – It’s What We Do” Industrial Plastics Recycling Company.
Objectives of this Role
Developing new business opportunities and support existing
Development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
Identify sustainability trends and customer needs and meet regularly with management to discuss strategy
Partner with management to identify and address customer needs
Interact and build relationships with our vendors to increase profitability and service to our clients
Build expert and dynamic knowledge of company services and products
Maintain and share professional knowledge through, networking, events, and presentations
Build and manage social media presence
Skills and Qualifications
Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation
Eagerness to learn the business of industrial plastics recycling – from start to finish
Ability to multitask, manage time, prioritize and organize
Comfortable in a corporate setting as well as a manufacturing environment
Goal oriented, self-motivated, tenacious, team player
Willing to travel to meetings, conferences and events
Integrity in work ethic
Some college or equivalent work experience
