Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or military equivalent. Certification required.
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, provides technical assistance during surgical procedures utilizing sterile technique to ensure quality patient care and safety. Provides direct and indirect nursing care for the pediatric to geriatric patient populations found in the hospital setting. This position is for the CVOR team but the Surgical Technologist will scrub and assist in all service lines of the operating room.
