Wages/Salary: Competitive salary and compensation package including fringe benefits. Salary range negotiable, $40,000-$60,000 annually, depending on experience.
The primary duties and responsibilities of the CMM Technician consist of but are not limited to:
? Load and operate CMMs
? Load and operate VCMMs
? Calibrate probes
? Maintain data collection / retention software in accordance with established UMC
processes
? Clearly identify and process nonconforming product in accordance with established
UMC processes.
? Perform Gage R & R studies with over-site from Metrology Technicians
? Perform process capability studies with over-site from Metrology Technicians
? Communicate constraints in issues to appropriate technical resources
? Provide to support to special projects
? Lifting Requirements: 30 pounds
Qualifications
? Minimum Requirements - 2 years experience or comparable training
? Experience working with automated inspection systems - preferred
? Previous training on CMM equipment and software - preferred
? Strong technical aptitude and detail orientation
? Past experience working with Microsoft operating systems
? General proficiency in use of window based software applications
Accountabilities
? Completion of automated inspection activities in accordance with established UMC processes.
? Completion of automated inspection activities in accordance with established schedule
Competencies
? Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of quality
? Proficient in locating and moving files within a Microsoft operating system
? Proficient in the operation of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and other windows
based software applications
