CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to handle the different emotions associated with the residents and their families.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to resident diagnosis and medical history.
• Demonstrates computer skills necessary to complete Relias training modules.
• Excellent customer service skills and evidence of professional manner and conduct.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
• Ability to work cooperatively and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other team members, residents, families and volunteers.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to act with integrity and professionalism.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate approved by DHEC and Certified by the State of South Carolina.
• CPR and First aid Certification.
• Cognitive skills as related to the position.
