An Associate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or related field and one (1) year experience in computer programming; or a high school diploma and three (3) years experience in computer programming. Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge and experience of Visual Studio, .NET C#, HTML, web development and SQL Programming. Job Description:

Under limited supervision prepares highly complex computer programs for data processing systems; tests and debugs complex computer programs; revises and documents programming procedures; trains users in the use of computer programs; arranges for the processing of special reports; performs routine maintenance of Tech Online. Duties to include but are not limited to: (1) Design and maintain complex reporting systems providing online information to all users; (2)Design, test and implement custom web-based programming solutions to answer specialized data processing needs with limited supervision or assistance; (3) Prepares documentation of procedures for programs and trains users in the operation of new and existing systems; (4) Checks the accuracy and completeness of programs by preparing sample data and testing on the system; (5) Optimize procedures and monitors system resources to ensure that database is operating at maximum levels; (6) Initiate contact with software support to correct or ensure against system problems; (7) Coordinate software development with other colleges.
