Vermeer Mid Atlantic is looking for construction equipment service technicians in each of our South Carolina locations (Simpsonville and Summerville). These individuals will be responsible for the effective repair of machinery and components at high levels of quality. Their work must be completed in a safe, professional, and timely manner. Based upon their level of expertise, the service technician may work under direct supervision.
Heavy Equipment Technician Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer Equipment as directed by the branch service manager.
Diagnose problems and perform repairs.
Recognize and suggest needed repairs to equipment to the service manager.
Keep records of repairs performed.
Participate in training associated with specific related equipment. Training is provided.
Stay current with technical changes and updates of related equipment.
