Requirements:

Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent supplemented by specialized courses/training equivalent to completion of one year of college in paralegal studies, bookkeeping or other relevant field.

Requires at least one year of progressively responsible court experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Prepares, processes, maintains, files and distributes as appropriate records, reports, and other documents. Ensures the completeness of all documents as well as compliance with legal requirements. Maintains accurate and complete case files with security and confidentiality. Performs computer data entry to record and retrieve case information and to prepare reports and correspondence. Interacts, communicates and provides assistance to various individuals and groups including the Clerk of Court, co-workers, subordinates, attorneys, paralegals, judges, and other County employees, jurors, and the general public.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Performs a variety of general clerical duties including but not limited to typing, copying, filing, faxing information, processing mail, and answering the telephone.
