Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Industrial Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Technology.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Greenwood facility will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Drafting experience
Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; reach at or above shoulder level; grip; and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to walk; stoop; lift; carry; push; pull; and grip. The employee is frequently required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to or greater than 50 pounds. The vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to listen and to talk.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to noise and frequently exposed to dust.
In the Electrical Tester role, you will prepare and modify electrical drawings, including electric schematics, wiring diagrams, and three-line diagrams for distribution and control products. You will also perform complete electrical tests on assemblies and components to ensure conformance with required specifications and performance characteristics; diagnose and correct very difficult circuitry in assemblies requiring the analysis and evaluation of many component variables.
In this function you will:

Perform production tests using wire diagrams, schematics, sketches, and manufacturing information for low and medium voltage assemblies, switches, components, plugs and network protectors and all associated components.
Prepare layouts, diagrams, and schematic drawings through drafting techniques and methods using the computer following required specifications and general order interpretations.
Diagnose and correct problems or contact manager or engineer to verify circuit operations or to suggest methods to correct errors; prepare related test records and documentation.
Maintain contact with customers or customer representatives to solve problems associated with our distribution and control products; visit customer installation to trouble-shoot, repair, or modify medium voltage equipment.
