Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent;
Willing and able to supply your own basic hand tools;
Willing and able to work in a hot, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment;
Willing and able to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for an extended period of time (lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling);
Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
Willing and able to wear the necessary Personal Protection equipment (PPE) (i.e. hard hats, safety glasses, face shield, chemical suit, respirator, ear plugs, hearing protection, steel-toe boots or safety shoes and other PPE required by specific jobs);
Willing and able to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed;
Have at least 1 year of experience working within a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment
Experience in industrial electrical repair, process controls, and/or instrumentation;
Experience using a computer for basic record-keeping and documentation functions;
Experience with single and 3 phase electrical repair/trouble shooting up to 480 volts;
Knowledge of electronic circuitry and test equipment;
Experience reading electrical and maintenance schematics/blueprints;
Experience measuring, cutting, and bending conduit;
Experience troubleshooting hydraulic equipment, circuits and component;
Willing and able to routinely lift and carry up to 40 pounds and work at heights of up to 80 feet;

Preferred:
Journeyman card, OR an Associate's degree or higher in Industrial Electricity, Instrumentation, Electrical & Control Technology, Electrical Engineering or related field, OR military or apprenticeship experience in areas such as PLCs, voltage, wiring schematics, etc., OR college coursework in Principles of Technology, Electrical Control Systems, Control Theory or related field.
Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment;
Experience performing mathematical calculations on a regular basis.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
Problem solve, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility electrical system, to include electrical distribution, and manufacturing process equipment
Install and maintain electrical systems in a manufacturing environment
Troubleshoot PLC?s (Programmable Logic Controllers)
Learn technical skills to keep current with changing operations
Demonstrate a high regard for personal safety and safety of others by adhering to all plant safety/environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures
