?Two year electronics degree from accredited technical school
?Skilled in use of: 4 Channel DSO, Portable 200 MHz Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Signal generators, Variable power supplies, VARIAC, Computer maintenance Hand Tools, Fine Pitch Solder Station with Scope
?In-depth working knowledge of ALTIUM Designer, PCAD Schematic Suite, ISPLEVER Software, ACAD LT Software, Siemens STEP 7 PLC Software

The successful candidate will demonstrate skills in the following:
?Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
?Strong computer skills
?Able to work well with various groups of people such as vendors, customers, Milliken associates whether individually or in a team environment

Job Description:

This position is located at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, SC and is part of Milliken?s Floor Covering Millitron Business. The Electronics Technician reports to the Senior Development Engineer and is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to support, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the Millitron electrical systems. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm but may, on occasion, require flexibility outside of the normal work schedule to meet project deadlines. Some travel may be required for specific projects and may include international travel.

Key Responsibilities:

?Provide support to the Electrical/Electronics Engineer in troubleshooting electronics problems
?Support Millitron pattern control systems for all internal and external customers including phone and on-site support to eliminate problems and/or repair, replace specific circuit boards and panels
?Troubleshoot and repair printed circuit boards for both through hole and surface mount board designs
?Prototype new PC board designs
?Effectively use the existing Millitron testing stations for maintenance and troubleshooting opportunities
?Layout and fabricate electrical panels to the National Electrical Code (NEC)
?Install hardware on the sub panel and wire
?Inform appropriate management and technical associates of potential electrical problems and inherent dangers
?Demonstrate a high level of safety consciousness and fully participate in the Milliken Safety Process
