We are looking for an Engineer I Intern for our 2019 Summer Internship Program. This opportunity will be in Facilities Maintenance and Construction Department located in the Columbia Metro Area. This program offers a dynamic and accelerated work experience that prepares you to compete for entry-level, professional positions upon graduation, and provides you with skill-building work during the summer months of May to August.

Responsibilities
Assist Project Managers in daily tasks required for various types of construction activities. These tasks include estimating, detailing, problem solving, accounting, material research, drawing reviews, safety audits, filing, and communication with General Contractors, Architects, and Engineers. Some field work may be required as well as travel.
Qualifications
Program Requirements
Completed the first year of a 4-year college/university or 2-year degree transfer program
Degree being pursued is in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
Availability to work from May 14 through August 2, 2019
Preferred Skills: Typing, Basic computer skills, Excel, Auto Cad, Math and familiar with construction activities.
