Wages/Salary: The state salary range is from $31,182.00 to $57,695.00 annually. The agency hiring range minimum is $41,938.00 and the maximum is $57,695.00.

Requirements:

You will need a bachelor's degree in engineering; or a bachelor's degree in engineering technology and two (2) years of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.

Job Description:

You will assist the Resident Construction Engineer in the supervision of work conducted by contractors to ensure all items of work are constructed and performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for the project; assist the Resident Construction Engineer with gathering and compiling monthly construction reports and compiling final plans; assist in studying the contracts and plans to ensure the contractor is performing their work properly; supervise the preparation of final plans by taking final measurements, reducing the measurements to final quantities, placing the final quantities on a set of final plans and preparing the statements of overruns and underruns; perform inspection on roadway and bridge construction projects to ensure that the construction is performed as indicated on the plans, special provisions and standard specifications; perform other related engineering duties as required.
