EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The educational requirements for the position are a graduate of a 2-year degree (A.A.S.) in Engineering or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to measure parts using devices such as calipers, CMM, height stands and tape measure.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply logic to carry out detailed, written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Job Description:

SUMMARY
This is a position that supports the technical activities as directed by the engineering manager. The daily activities for this position can and will be diverse depending on the support needs of manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform a variety of tasks in CAD software (SolidWorks) that could involve review of customer’s solid models, plant layout, and fixture design.

Assist in the design & building of fixtures for part assembly to provide repeatability and efficiency for part manufacturing.

Provide support to the engineering manager and manufacturing team. Create or modify In-process inspections for the assembly operation.

Assist in basic IT tasks to support computers utilized in manufacturing.

Operate CNC Milling, Tubing, and assembly equipment as needed to support current needs.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. Flexible options for current students who intend to remain in school and finish their degree requirements.
