You will neeed critical thinking and analysis; object oriented practices; web technologies, including Javascript, DOM, HTML, CSS, JSON; server based languages including PHP, Java; subversion. You will also need to know jQuery, Prototype, Closure Tools or other Javascript frameworks; doctrine or other PHP ORM implementation; SOAP, rEST; groovy and/or grails; git; debugging; familiarity with open source software and projects; cloud experience, such as Google App Engine and Amazon Web Services. YOu will also neeed some experience with Windows software development, such as Delphi and/or Visual Basic.
An international manufacturer in the Augusta, GA area has an immediate opportunity for an Application Developer. The Developer will work with the IT team to build applications to meet the Company's increasing demands for information. You will analyze user and management requirements; develop code to efficiently implement feature sets and functionality; work with users and management to test and deploy applications; maintain legacy code and correct issues; assist in the development and maintenance of internal API's and software infrastructure.
