Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • No farm experience necessary but preferred. 
  • A strong work ethic is required. 
  • Opportunity to move into full time salaried position available
  • Requirements:
    • Clean drug test
    • Ability to arrive on time with consistent attendance
    • A focus on the quality of work over the quantity of work
    • Attention to surroundings for safety purposes
    • Enjoyment of working with and respect for animals
    • Be able to lift 50+ lbs
    • Working limited hours every other weekend and some holidays is required
Job Description:

Role and Responsibilities

    • Daily
      • Check and walk poultry houses
      • Assist with repairs and maintenance
      • Assist with daily checking of cattle herd
      • Responsible for equipment and poultry health for individual poultry houses
    • Monthly
      • Responsibly use various light and heavy equipment and tools
      • Assist in major projects
    • We encourage active participation in the local agricultural community
