Job Description:
Essential Functions and Typical Tasks
?Employees in this class perform a variety of work as a member of a crew engaged in the construction, installation and repair of the City?s natural gas facilities.
?Work involves the operation of construction equipment in excavation, backfilling and compacting the site.
?Employees will also assist Qualified Operators in making taps on gas mains, installing regulators, meters, valves and making repairs to the natural gas facility.
?Digs Trenches by hand or machine.
?Stocks truck with materials and supplies.
?Makes minor repair to tools and equipment.
?Loads and unloads trucks.
?Cuts gas service on and off.
?Exercises valves.
?Performs related tasks as required.
Full time 40hrs per week
