Requirements:
  • Associates degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance Manufacturing, or Industrial Electricity or similar experience is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of single phase and three phase electrical installation is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Must be able to work 8-12 hour shifts – day shift with occasional weekend work.
  • Licensed driver able to drive company vehicles.
Job Description:

Mechanical and electrical modifications for 40 KW to 1 MW standby generators.  Typical installations include:

  • Wiring and mounting 40A-2000A breakers and adding breaker enclosures.
  • Conduit/wiring accessories such as enclosure heaters, load centers, motorized louvers, NiCad battery systems, battery chargers, and battery heaters. 
  • Conduit/wiring load banks, transformers, DPF systems.
  • Mounting fuel tanks and connecting fuel level sensors to generator controller.
  • Mounting fuel pump and fuel polishing systems.  Connecting system sensors to generator controller.   

 

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

 

Location:

Newberry, SC

Occasional field work in SC, NC and GA with overnight stay
