Related experience operating general grounds equipment (mowers, hedge trimmers, edgers, etc.). Should have or be able to obtain a SC Pesticide Applicator's license within one year of employment. Previous relevant work experience leading a grounds crew. Experience performing maintenance on grounds equipment. Experience with irrigation setup and installation preferred. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving record.
Under general supervision of the, Manager of Grounds, responsible for the upkeep of athletic fields, performing repairs and maintenance on equipment used in the Grounds Department. Oversees irrigation on the campus, monitors special projects, and serves as crew leader. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe campus environment.
