- Applicant must be available to work seven days a week including all holidays. Applicants need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Previous tractor and/or nursery experience is preferred but not required.
- To be able to read and understand chemical work order reports and chemical labels.
- Fill out chemical work order reports once work has been completed.
- Basic math skills.
- Understanding of units of measure and the ability to convert them.
The chemical applicator is responsible for all spraying, spreading and drenching of chemicals on all nursery crops while following all safety precautions established by the chemical label. Chemical applicators are required to check and maintain all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as well as all spray equipment. Applicant must be able to work long days in all weather conditions while wearing PPE.
