Requirements:

A high school diploma and two years of strong work experience in human resources is required. A bachelor?s degree or PHR preferred. Experience in SC State benefits administration and Banner desired.Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics.A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities:
Must have strong working knowledge of human resources functions in recruitment,employment,and benefits administration including ACA,technology,and HRIS systems. Knowledge of employment law,policies and procedures. Knowledge of state regulations preferred.Ability to analyze needs and to recommend and communicate solutions effectively. Excellent customer service with strong communication,computer,interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be team oriented with attention to detail,confidentiality,and possess the ability to meet deadlines.

Job Description:

Provides human resource generalist duties primarily with recruitment,employment,and benefits administration including ACA. Performs recruitment and employment duties including advertising,recruiting,backgrounds,applicant tracking,and assists with jobs fairs/events. Assists the Benefits Manager with all aspects of benefits including communications,employee inquiries,claim resolution enrollment,on boarding,and benefit events and functions. Provides administrative coverage as needed. May provide support to other specialized human resources activities;interprets policies and procedures providing guidance of subject matter as needed.

Schedule:
Regular Work Hours: 8:00am ?5:00pm, Monday ?Friday; Summer Work Hours: 7:30am ?5:30pm, Monday ? Wednesday & 7:30am ?5:00pm, Thursday
(Some travel is required.)
