Associate degree plus two years’ directly related work experience; or a high school diploma plus four years’ directly related work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Valid Refrigerant EPA certification. An associate degree in HVAC or related area. Multi-skilled with a strong background in hot and chilled water systems; strong background in electrical controls such as trouble shooting motor controls, lighting control systems and digital controls; ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications and wiring schematics.
To provide a variety of tasks to support the maintenance of facilities and equipment owned by Spartanburg Community College. Complete maintenance, renovation and construction projects as assigned. Complete renovation tasks related to HVAC and mechanical duties being done by Physical Plant.
Monday - Thursday (1 hour lunch)
7:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Friday
