Requirements:

Associate degree in a related area; or high school diploma and experience in office automation systems, data communications system design, installation, operation, repair, or processing of information in a data processing environment. Experience in the following areas is preferred: All versions of Windows Server, SQL Server, Windows scripting, virtualization technologies, and Linux.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of computer software and operating systems. Ability to install computer hardware and software. Ability to research complex problems related to hardware and software compatibilities and to provide solutions. Ability to troubleshoot PC components. Good communication skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions. Ability to work well with people of all levels of computer expertise and to relate well to campus community.

Job Description:

Responsible for system integrity and security through use of group policy and system updates. Maintains the integrity of the domain controllers and other systems to provide updates to local systems. Maintains anti-virus systems and ensures updates are made to local systems. Assists with virtualization projects.
