Requirements:

Must be enrolled in or be a graduate of a Bachelors program in Education or Science related field with presentation experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities. A strong base knowledge of science is preferred as it relates to animals and plants. Must be comfortable handling animals (small mammals, reptiles, and birds) and animal artifacts. Must be CPR/First Aid certified. Must demonstrate enthusiasm and a commitment to high quality programming and excellent customer service for our guests.

Job Description:

Facilitate formal interpretive programs for guests within the park. Assist the Coordinator of Interpretation with event days, animal handling and evaluation of informal park programming. Conduct program evaluations and respond to feedback. May also facilitate overnight programs if desired. Reports to the Coordinator of Interpretive Programs (CIP).

Schedule:
Part-time: 25 hours/week
