Requirements to include but not limited to, proven work experience as a lab assistant; strong phlebotomist skills, familiarity with automated laboratory equipment, accuracy and close attention to detail, knowledge of reference labs, High school/GED required; Assistant will collect samples from patients required for the performance of laboratory test, performing all registration and procedure order in the LIS. In addition to all phlebotomy skills, assistant will support the lab techs with all types of specimen process, from in house testing to reference lab processing and ordering.
