Education: High School diploma required (College Degree Preferred)
Experience: Minimum of three years’ experience in landscaping. Knowledge/Experience of masonry hardscaping and irrigation highly preferred. Knowledge of Horticulture & experience driving a landscaping truck is a plus.
Special Skills: Operating; zero turn lawn mower, weed eater, hedge trimmer, chainsaw, hand-held and backpack leaf blowers. Not afraid of heights. Ability to climb ladders, walk rooftops and clean gutters. Knowledge of fertilizers, grass seed, landscape planning, as well as, preventative lawn care maintenance.
The landscaping team leader is an experienced landscaper working with minimal supervision. The position works as a member of the team and directs the activities of one or more team members at a job site. The landscape crew leader is able to operate a variety of equipment and has a working knowledge of horticultural practices.
