Requirements:

A high school diploma. Necessary special requirement: Certification by the law enforcement training council in accordance with 23-23-40 of the code of laws of South Carolina 1979. Must meet SC Law Enforcement Division (SLED) requirements for a Group I State Constable. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. Must live within approximately 35 miles of Lander University or within a 30-35 minute commute. A valid drivers license and safe driving history are required.

Job Description:

Provides for the protection of person and property at Lander University and assures an atmosphere free from any interruption. Enforces state, country, and municipal laws along with all Lander University rules, regulations, and policies.

Schedule:
Varied (12 hour shifts rotation on days and nights).
