Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and previous relevant library work experience. A valid driver's license and safe driving history. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. Preferred Requirements: A bachelor's degree may be substituted for work experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of library organization, research methodology, procedures, aims and services. Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative. Ability to perform detailed and complex routines with an electronic information system. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness in work.
Description: The Library Collections Specialist supports the growth and discoverability of Lander University Library Services’ holdings (including archives) by noting and maintaining accurate descriptions of items in the online library catalog. Supports the acquisition of digital resources and promotes library collections through creative exhibits and programming.
