Wages/Salary: $17.00/hr. in the first month. Performance Bonus Earnings Program to follow after 30 days.
Requirements:
- Must have a forklift certification or the abilty to achieve a certification within 30 days of hire.
- Must be able to work flex hours as the need arises, including working on a different shift.
- Must have, at least, a medium level of competency with computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word.
Job Description:
TrueCore, a Division of Nucor Corporation, is currently seeking some amazing applicants for the position of a Loader. The basic functions of this role for the successful candidate are:
- Unload all panel materials into the storage area using Forklifts and Combi-Lifts.
- Assure all bundles of material are accounted for and properly marked and staged for loading.
- Load all panel bundles on trailers.
- Inspect all material for damage prior to loading on trailers.
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Responsible for housekeeping, cleanliness, of the loading area.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
- Perform all other duties, as assigned.
