Wages/Salary: Starting salary will be $12 until 90 days and/or licensed certification after state boards. Amount of increase will be determined at that time.
LVT works under the direct guidance and supervision of Veterinarians to provide basic medical care to patients. He/She must also assist with office visits, exams, treatments, surgery, and everyday needs of pets in hospital and boarding. He/She must be a team player and able to manage stress appropriately.
Set up and assist in the operation of diagnostics imaging
Digital x-rays
vital signs, cleaning wounds, changing bandages, monitoring incisions, placing catheters, blood collection, calculate medication doses, administer medications, perform dog/cat anesthesia induction and intubation, prepare lab forms
Wed. & Sat. 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Scheduled on a 38 hr. week...will include at least 3 evenings and every other Sat.
