Maintenance Electrician

Diagnose and correct problems with automated machinery (primarily Siemens controlled); perform equipment failure analysis; provide assistance to engineering personnel as needed; update documentation for equipment; complete miscellaneous assignments as required; work in coordination with representatives from various machine builders and colleagues from Germany; interpret and understand electrical drawing and schematics; assist in development of PM plans; assist in management of spare parts inventories; perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks as required; follow strict safety procedures including "lockout"; use various electrical measurement equipment in connection with job duties; all employees are responsible for having an awareness and understanding of MTU Drive Shafts commitment to ISO 140001; Associate's degree preferred; knowledge of local electrical codes and standards; and 2+ years experience troubleshooting/debugging PLC controlled systems.
