High school diploma or GED
Must have at least three (3) years of experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment OR possess a two (2) year technical degree or higher in industrial electrical maintenance
Experience troubleshooting conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics and pumps
Experience troubleshooting electrical controls, PLC?s, AC/DC motors, and motor controllers & drives
Experience reading electrical schematics / mechanical drawings.
Willing and able to work any shift, holidays, weekends, overtime and on call as needed
Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day
Willing and able to work in high and/or confined spaces
Willing and able to work in a loud/noisy, hot, humid, dusty, greasy and high volume environment
Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical and mechanical problems in accordance with plant policies and procedures
Maintenance of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and AC/DC drives
Assist in selecting upgrades to equipment
Assist in planning, installing and startup of internal projects
Prepare work orders
Perform clean up as necessary
