Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or at least ten years of equivalent experience. Must be familiar with computer applications and/or controlled systems. Must be familiar with Lean Manufacturing principles. Must be familiar with plant operations and equipment. Knowledge of job-related product information. Knowledge of total productive maintenance principles. Must be able to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Must be familiar with OSHA, NIOSH, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office computer software applications. Must be familiar with TS 16949 and/or ISO9000 requirements. Must be familiar with Statistical Process Control. Must be proficient with PLC and PC based control systems. Must have working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical power transmission systems. Must be proficient with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
Support the human and physical resources in maintenance and preventative maintenance of machines, equipment and facility-related issues associated with the production of drive shafts. Make continuous improvements in dynamic cycle time/response time to satisfy customer needs in production operations by improving quality, productivity, utilization, service, cost and headcount objectives by optimization of machine availability and processed. Work involves a thorough understanding of plant operations, company policies, practices, and procedures and the ability to resolve conflicts/issues through collaborative team efforts.
