Must be able to communicate technically, orally and written.
Advance understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical (AC/DC motors, switch gear)
Basic understanding of PLC's and VFD' and HMI's and temperature controllers.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, layout projects, locate prints and use maintenance technical manuals.
Must be computer literate candidates.
Looking for maintenance technicians for a Tier 1 Automotive group.
The maintenance technician is a hands-on position responsible for daily maintenance work, documentation, and short/long term planning. The Maintenance Tech will maintain mechanical equipment, systems and facilities in order to provide dependable, reliable equipment, and proactively address all operational needs. The work involves predictive, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of highly complex machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanized processes and equipment to assure reliability and dependable continuous operations. Perform equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, equipment repairs and troubleshooting equipment problems in an accurate and efficient manner, modifies, and installs all types of machinery and mechanical equipment while observing all applicable Safety Policies and Procedures. Make decisions on equipment repairs, be self motivated, look beyond the problem at hand, track work to be completed and completed work, estimate man hours and job completion hours. Operate mobile equipment including forklift, manlift, scissor lift and overhead hoist to complete job assignments. Instruct less experienced employees and perform other duties as directed to insure continuous operations. Equipment types: forklifts, pneumatic bagging systems, robot, bucket elevators, roll compactor, vibratory conveyors, vibrating rod mills and dust collectors.
