We are currently seeking a Highly Qualified Maintenance Mechanic for a 10 hour shift. This is an exciting opportunity for a company that is quickly expanding and adding new personal to keep up with an increasing work load.
In order to be qualified for the position candidates must have a minimum 10 years Food or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and auto packaging experience.
From Day one candidates will be expected to:
-Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance repair to automation, conveyor, material handling equipment and facility support system.
-Effectively maintain and trouble shoot new and existing plant equipment while working with pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC's and other electrical components.
-Set up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder and other metalworking tools and operate wielding equipment to make and repair parts, tooling and equipment.
-Specify repair parts and replace as needed.
-Perform plumbing, HVAC and carpentry work as needed.
-Set up, maintain and repair equipment to ensure safe operation.
-Follow directions.
-Research parts, tools and technology as required through all sources available.
-Develop approved system modifications and procure resources needed for project completion.
-Comply with company attendance policy.
-Comply with all company and industrial safety standards.
