Maintenance Technician

Techs are responsible for maintaining all plant machinery as directed by Maintenance Manager and answer trouble calls in the plant.  Plus, they must have the ability to troubleshoot all aspects of machinery.

Keep up to date with policies, procedures, SOP's, requirements of the position, EH&S requirements and All Management System information (Quality-ISO 9001-2015, EH&S-14001-18001-2015)

The Job Role and Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC’s (programming a plus)
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Industrial Mechanical (with strong electrical) desired
• Ability to operate equipment or tools.
• Ability to work with computer software.
• Familiarity with special terminology
• Flexible to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Prioritize due to demands
• Observes and complies with all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations associated with this job.
• Aids supervisor in identifying training needs. 
• Attends and participates in all scheduled training and educational programs identified for this position.
• Conducts housekeeping for personal work area and shared facility space.
• Other duties may be assigned.
