Wages/Salary: Adult Apprentice - $21.46/hour Level I Maintenance Technician - (after successfully completing Apprenticeship) $33.92/hour
We are seeking motivated, career‑driven recent graduates—or soon‑to‑be graduates—in Mechatronics for an 18‑month Maintenance Apprenticeship within a large manufacturing facility. This structured program provides hands‑on technical training, classroom instruction, and real‑world maintenance experience alongside seasoned Maintenance Technicians.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, candidates will be eligible for promotion to Level I Maintenance Technician.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Mechatronics
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must complete an interview and Aptitude Testing
- Must be willing to work any shift
Apprentices begin the program with eight weeks of classroom and hands‑on lab instruction. This phase focuses on building foundational technical skills essential for maintenance work, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and troubleshooting competencies.
On-the-Job Training
After completing the initial training period, apprentices will transition to working alongside qualified Maintenance Technicians. Under direct mentorship, apprentices will:
- Support equipment troubleshooting and repair
- Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance activities
- Learn safe work practices within an industrial environment
- Gain exposure to manufacturing systems, automation, and facility processes
