 Legible handwriting.
 Ability to follow written instructions well.

 Experience/knowledge in welding.

 Must maintain forklift operator certification
 Must maintain good attendance.
 Requires strong background in electrical and electronic training, knowledge, &
experience.
 Must be able to work independent and use good judgment.
 Must be able to use power and hand tools to cut, thread, bend, and assemble black iron and plastic pipe and conduit.
 Ability to read and understand electrical manuals.
 Knowledge of, or ability to learn quickly, a wide variety of tools and equipment.

Physical Requirements

 Ability to lift up to 75 pounds at occasional intervals.
 Ability to stand, stoop, and bend 80 percent of the time.
 Must be able and willing to work at varying heights.
 Must have a good color vision.
 Must demonstrate good eye and hand coordination in functions.

Job Description:

Summary of Duties:
Perform electrical and mechanical installation, maintenance and repairs on building and/or equipment. Troubleshoot, adjust and/or repair equipment. Assist Maintenance Technician / Leadperson and the Maintenance Technician II in the performance of their duties.

Job Duties Include (but not limited to)

 Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, hoist, crane, and testing equipment, and following specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic diagrams.
 Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment, using electrical and electronic equipment.
 Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
 Layout, assembles, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replaces gages, valves, regulators, and equipment as necessary.
 Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishments.
 May install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment, such as Programmable Controllers.
 Performs both preventive and unscheduled maintenance, as needed, to building and/or equipment.
 Maintains all plant facilities and equipment, in safe operating order. Immediately reports any unsafe condition or operations.
 Assists in planning and scheduling projects when needed.
 Keeps work area clean, neat and free of clutter and debris.
 Assists in other areas whenever needed.

Schedule:
Monday- Friday 1st Shift
Rotation of on call schedule
