CNC Engineering Development Program
Sundaram Clayton USA, LLC
The Manufacturing Engineering Trainee participates in a structured 2-year development program designed to prepare recent Associate Degree graduates for future technical positions within manufacturing and engineering operations.
The trainee will gain hands-on experience in CNC manufacturing, production support, engineering support activities, reporting, troubleshooting, quality systems, and continuous improvement.
This position provides real-world manufacturing experience while developing the technical and professional skills needed for future opportunities such as:
- Manufacturing Engineering Technician
- Supervisor Technician
- CNC Process Technician
- Engineering Support Technician
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in structured on-the-job training
- Support CNC manufacturing and production operations
- Assist with production reporting and data tracking
- Support engineering and continuous improvement activities
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities
- Maintain professionalism, attendance, and reliability
- Work closely with mentors, supervisors, and engineering personnel
