The position is responsible for ensuring safe and continuous flow of natural gas from high pressure transmission systems to the distribution system endpoints. This will include high pressure distribution, low pressure distribution, and large industrial customers through the accurate operations of meters, correcting devices, and pressure control devices in accordance with company policies and procedures. Perform tasks in support of the department’s annual regulatory requirements and goals, as related to the department’s functions. This position ensures the safety of the public and company personnel by safe operation of the natural gas system. Install, troubleshoot, repair, test, and adjust regulators, relief valves, heaters, filters, rural taps, meters, and valves as a part of pressure limiting maintenance, flow control, and maintaining telemetry equipment.
