Minimum requirements for Mechanical Engineer:
? Willingness to work in hot, dirty working conditions when trouble-shooting or maintaining equipment
? Ability to work 50+ hours per week, if required
? Willingness to be on-call 7 days a week, 24 hours per day for production and maintenance support
? Ability to create high-tech solutions, often in difficult, rough factory conditions
? Awareness of and willingness to follow all OSHA, NEC, and EPA government legislation
Hiring entry level to experienced Mechanical Engineers. $50,000- $85,000 plus bonus.
A Mechanical Engineer designs, installs and modifies tire manufacturing machines to maximize plant operating efficiency. They are also responsible for equipment safety and maintenance technical support.
Responsibilities:
? Design and install new equipment to meet all plant objectives and goals
? Modify existing equipment as per Production or Tech Service requests
? Manage contractor and maintenance technicians assigned; plus, work with service technicians and production leadership to improve equipment to meet specifically defined goals on uptime and productivity
? Manage/Control capital and expense budgets in order to meet plant objectives
? Perform safety audits in area of responsibility
? Willingness to be on-call 7 days a week, 24 hours per day for production and maintenance support
