Must have HS Diploma/GED, be a certified welder, pass background check and drug screen, pass written weld test, sample piece visual test and macro etch test.

Job Description:

Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction. Primary responsibility is to MIG and TIG weld.

Duties are performed under the general supervision of the Production Manager. The following requirements, essential functions, and responsibilities are not intended to represent an exhaustive listing nor in any way restrict or limit job assignment.
Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
?Maintains welding equipment
?Performs finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
?Sets fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) as required
?Knowledge of wire, filler materials and gases applicable for various steel alloys

1st shift regular schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (overtime required as needed; may include weekend work)
2nd shift regular schedule: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am (overtime required as needed; may include weekend work)
