Wages/Salary: $12.50 per hour with a minimum of 1-hour pay for each scheduled Sunday, Wednesday or event time.
Experience with child care, preferably in a church or daycare setting; sincere love and desire to care for young children; willingness and ability to respond to communication efforts from church staff in a timely manner; schedule that allows you to work on alternating Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and other special events specifically including Vacation Bible School, 8:45-noon on July 27-30, 2015. Nursery staff must be willing to participate in and obtain certification for Safe Church Training at the next available offering, and Resurrection will conduct a SLED background check prior to hiring. At least two references are required.
Church of the Resurrection seeks a responsible, reliable, energetic and loving person to serve as a care-giver to young children during church services. Resurrection offers nursery care to infants through 3-year-olds on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings and during special events such as VBS. Nursery staff are responsible for the care and safety of these children and will be supported whenever possible by volunteer parents. Nursery staff are strongly encouraged to provide spiritually formative experiences when practical, such as reading, imaginative play and simple crafts.
