Minimum Requirements:Unencumbered South Carolina Registered Nurse License or Advance Practice Registered Nurse(APRN).BSN required,MSN preferred.At least 2 years of experience as a registered nurse.Clinical teaching experience is required to include:medical-surgical nursing,prior experience instructing student nurses in a clinical or laboratory setting or serving as a preceptor for students or new graduates.Must be eligible to provide clinical instruction in agencies utilized by the School of Nursing.Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics.A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required.

Job Description:

Description: Seeking applications for a full-time non-tenure track clinical faculty position to begin August 2016.Clinical instructor role includes clinical teaching and supervision in an acute care facility,laboratory instruction and supervision,academic advising and service.

Knowledge,Skills and Abilities:Good communication and people skills;demonstrated skill in the use of computer technology to conduct and support administrative,teaching,and scholarly activities.Assignments to include laboratory/clinical instruction.Must be willing and able to be trained in laboratory/clinical instruction and clinical use of computers and simulators.

Schedule:
Work Hours: Tuesday through Friday including 12 hour days on Tuesday and Thursday (7am-7pm).
