Prefer a student of computer science or graduate with an associate's degree in computer science or related field and one year of related experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Requires a valid driver's license and own transportation
Provides first and second level support for IT systems used at Capsugel. Troubleshoots hardware and software problems; makes repairs. Installs new hardware and software upgrades. Delivers IT equipment to and from department as needed. Performs scheduled maintenance on computer equipment. Monitors computer, server, and network and network functions. Maintains database of computer equipment configurations, service, warranties and problem reports. Communicates with hardware/software vendors and the Pfizer corporate IT support staff to resolve problems. Works with remote campuses including Licaps, MTC, the D.C.(each located in Greenwood) and Puebla, Mexico (Spanish not required) to resolve problems. Communicates with staff to keep them informed of recurring incidents and potential problems. Attends workshops and meetings related to IT.
