Requirements:

We are looking for a technician with the expertise and professionalism to perform exceptionally well and with minimal guidance in any given manufacturing situation. You must also display excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and management at all levels of the organization.

 

· Preferred 1 year experience Powder Coating experience, but not required in a manufacturing environment

· Able to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently and up to 60 lbs. occasionally

· Able to walk and stand the majority of the shift

· Able to use hands to feel and grasp parts, fully reach with hands and arms; stoop, twist, kneel, and crouch or crawl - Able to talk and hear

· Able to wear a full-face respirator

· Able to follow directions and work as part of a team

· Attention to detail, patience and a steady, consistent work ethic are highly important to this position

 

Job Description:

· Maintain spray guns and equipment

· Clean booth between color changes to prevent cross contamination

· Spray wash parts prior to applying powder

· Visually inspect all product entering paint system to ensure product is properly prepped

· Spray powder paint to industry's standards and customer specifications

· Apply consistent mil thicknesses on varying product

· Maintain daily schedule to provide smooth flow into packaging dept.

· Monitor bake oven operation and times

· Inspect for quality finish after cure

· Powder coating technicians should expect to get dirty on the job

Mon - Thurs: 6:30am - 4:00pm
