Job Description:
The PRTF Nurse is responsible for delivering quality and psychiatric nursing care to adolescents ages 12 to 20 with psychiatric or emotional disorders. The PRTF Nurse will serve as a member of the multi-disciplinary team; oversee all medication ordering, storage, and administration. The PRTF Nurse will also provide other nursing tasks as assigned; and is responsible for scheduling and supervising on call nursing staff to assure 24-7 RN coverage. Essential Responsibilities:

Respond to all medical emergencies, complaints, and reports.

Communicate acute medical concerns to the Psychiatrist.

Complete admission intake assessment for new residents.

Serve as liaison with the pharmacy company.
